Yu-Gi-Oh! lives on combinations that can turn a single card into an entire board.
How the game works
In Yu-Gi-Oh! both sides start on 8000 life points, and a single turn can change a lot: you summon a monster, trigger an effect with it, pay for the next summon with that effect, and so on. One card in hand becomes a full board.
That is the appeal, and at the start it is also the biggest hurdle. If you are new, it helps to play with someone who knows the current decks.
