What this website does
This website gives information about our shop. There is no user account, no contact form, no online shop and no comments. We use no analytics and no advertising tools.
Hosting and server log files
The website is hosted by IONOS SE (Montabaur, Germany), which processes the data on our behalf. Every time a page is opened, the server automatically stores technical data: your IP address, date and time, the page requested, the amount of data sent and details about your browser. This is needed to deliver the page and to protect it from abuse (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, legitimate interest).
IONOS keeps this access data for 8 weeks at most and shortens the IP address.
Cookies and browser storage
This website sets no cookies. If you use the switch for the light or dark design, your browser remembers your choice under the name “cardarena-theme” (local storage). The entry stays until you delete it and is not sent to us or to anyone else. It is needed so that the page looks the way you set it on your next visit. Nothing is stored unless you click the switch; on a first visit the page follows your device setting.
Fonts
Our own server delivers the font. Your browser does not connect to Google or any other provider for it.
Instagram posts
On the home page we show recent posts from our Instagram account @cardarenasalzburg. Our server fetches the posts through Instagram’s interface (Meta Platforms Ireland Limited) and delivers the pictures and texts from our own site. Your browser does not contact Instagram while doing so. You only leave our site when you click a post or our profile. From then on, Instagram’s privacy policy applies.
Event calendar
The events come from our Google Calendar. Here too, our server fetches the events from Google (Google Ireland Limited). Your browser does not connect to Google.
Links to other sites
We link to Google Maps, Instagram, Facebook, Cardmarket and the official websites of the games. These sites only open when you click the link. From then on, their privacy terms apply.
When you write or call us
If you contact us by email or phone, we process your details to answer your request (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR).
We keep your details only as long as we need them for your request. After that we delete them, unless a legal retention duty applies.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection (Art. 15 to 21 GDPR). Write to us at office@cardarena.at.
If you think we are not handling your data properly, you can complain to the data protection authority: Österreichische Datenschutzbehörde, Barichgasse 40–42, 1030 Vienna, www.dsb.gv.at.
