Digimon evolve right on the card, and you share the memory gauge with your opponent.
How the game works
What makes Digimon special is digivolving. You simply put the next stage on top of your Digimon, and what’s underneath stays there and keeps counting. A Digimon is never just one card, it is a stack with a history.
On top of that, both players share one memory gauge. Everything you do pushes it toward your opponent, and once it sits far enough on their side, the turn is theirs. So you decide how long your turn runs and what you hand over for it. The current version has been around since 2020, from Bandai.
